For twenty-four seasons Ramapo College of NJ has been bringing outstanding guest artists to perform at the Berrie Center for the Arts on our campus. As we look to the future in anticipation of our silver anniversary, we are thrilled to announce our new brand Arch Performances! Arch Performances replaces what has been affectionately known as the Berrie Center Performances.
Why the change? Over our twenty-four-year history, so much has changed on our campus. The Berrie Center for the Arts is now home to a wide variety of programs and users and we are looking to distinguish our performing artist series. Our series has always had the vision of being a community resource welcoming 85% of our audiences from the greater Mahwah region.
Why Arch Performances? The Ramapo College Arch is perhaps its most distinguishing feature and we like the idea of relating a key icon as an identifier with our series. In addition, the true meaning of arch is to serve as a support – something we strive to do everyday for both our campus community and our neighboring citizens.
What does this mean to you, our patrons? Watch for our new logo and recognize that when you see it on our marketing materials, you are getting quality performing arts opportunities by our guest artists at an affordable price.
Arch Performances. Same great events. Same great location.
For twenty-four seasons we have been bringing outstanding guest artists to perform at the Berrie Center for the Arts on our campus, but did you know that ticket sales only cover a fraction of the cost for this programming?
$25 for 25 is our campaign to raise $ 10,000 by our 25th Anniversary in September 2024. Your donation will sustain our work on-campus and contribute to our region’s quality of life and outreach through our partnerships with underserved public schools. Please consider a donation today and help us create, engage, inspire!

Tony DeSare performs with infectious joy, wry playfulness and robust musicality. Named a Rising Star Male Vocalist in Downbeat magazine, DeSare has lived up to this distinction by winning critical and popular acclaim for his concert performances throughout North America and abroad. From jazz clubs to Carnegie Hall to Las Vegas headlining with Don Rickles and major symphony orchestras, DeSare has brought his fresh take on old school class around the globe.
His sound is romantic, swinging and sensual, but what sets DeSare apart is his ability to write original material that sounds fresh and contemporary, yet pays homage to the Great American Songbook.
