The eCheckUps To Go are interactive web surveys that allow students to enhance their overall well-being through risk reduction around alcohol and/or cannabis. Students enter information about their use patterns and receive feedback to use to make healthier choices.

The Alcohol eCHECKUP TO GO for Colleges & Universities is a personalized, evidence-based, online prevention intervention developed by psychologists at San Diego State University.  It is customized to your campus to support:

  • Your health and wellness goals
  • Your Social Norms
  • Your campus resources
  • Your local community resources
  • Your programs and departments
  • Your strategic AOD goals

The feedback is personalized to each student, and provides feedback about their own:

  • Individual drinking patterns
  • Specific health and personal consequences
  • Unique personal and family risk factors
  • Campus and community support and emergency services

The program’s primary goals are to:

  • Reduce levels of dangerous and destructive drinking on college campuses with a special focus on two high-risk groups: First-Year Students and Athletes.
  • Strengthen a culture of safety and health by reducing harms and providing customized links and information about your campus and local community resources.

Cannabis eCHECKUP TO GO

The Cannabis eCHECKUP TO GO for Colleges & Universities is a personalized, evidence-based, online prevention and intervention program designed to reduce cannabis use among college students.  It is designed to help motivate students to reduce their level of cannabis use using personalized information about their own behavior and risk factors.

It is customized to your campus to support:

  • Your programs and departments
  • Your strategic AOD goals

Who can complete eCHECKUP TO GO?

Some students complete eCHECK UP TO GO to fulfill an alcohol or cannabis related sanction, while others may come because they have concerns about their alcohol or cannabis use. eCHECK UP TO GO is appropriate for anyone who uses alcohol or cannabis in a high-risk manner, especially if you are concerned about your alcohol or cannabis use and how it compares to other students.
