Misha Choudhry Headshot

“The literature and sociology classes I took at Ramapo sparked my interest in critical theory and has led me to pursue my Ph.D. in English at the University of California Riverside. Having faculty that always encouraged us to think critically about the world we live in, the media we consume, and the language that articulates our experiences taught me to believe in the potential my scholarship has to hold us accountable for systemic injustices. Being a student of color and the Vice President of the Diversity Action Committee Student Club on campus also taught me the necessity of challenging those in power to push towards institutional change.” – Misha Choudhry ’16 graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and minors in Sociology and Spanish. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in English at UC Riverside.
