“In the spring 2015 semester, I studied in Seville, Spain. While there, I stayed with a host family which helped me fully immerse myself in the Spanish culture. On the weekends, I traveled to other countries including Belgium, Italy, France and Portugal. I loved studying abroad so much that I traveled in August 2015 to San Jose, Costa Rica. It was great to be able to live in two different continents. I got to explore the world through my own eyes and understand cultures instead of just reading about them in textbooks. Studying abroad was such an amazing experience that I decided to go back to Europe in the spring of 2016.” – Brittany Hopper ’17 graduated as a Spanish and International Studies double major and a Latin American Studies minor.
