Abigail Courtney

“Ramapo College provided an ideal environment for me to grow both personally and professionally. Participating in the School of Theoretical and Applied Science Research Honors program helped me discover my future educational goals. My mentors always went above and beyond in developing appropriate research projects, reviewing applications for summer research and then graduate school. In addition, they remained supportive and helpful in other aspects of my life. I am indebted to these amazing professors and know that I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today without them.” – Abigail Courtney ’15 received many prestigious awards while at Ramapo, including the 2015 Lee Sennish Award, 2015 Outstanding Academic Achievement in Bioinformatics Award and the 2014 Annual Golden Key Scholarship. Abigail will attend the University of Georgia’s Integrated Life Sciences Ph.D. program in fall 2015.
