Study & Intern Abroad

Marissa Greenfield

ISA – Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo – Sevilla, Spain (summer 2014)

My name is Marissa Greenfield, and I am a senior studying Social Work here at Ramapo. I have always been interested in learning languages and culture, which is why I chose to study abroad with ISA in Sevilla, Spain during the summer of 2014. I lived with a host family who helped me make an easy transition into a different lifestyle. Studying abroad allowed me to further my Spanish language skills, which is highly useful in today’s job market. Not only were the classes and professors great, but I was able to travel to other countries as well and make lifelong friendships with my host family and new friends from around the world. I have become a Global Roadrunner in order to spread the word about studying abroad because it was the best time of my life, and I believe it is an opportunity that everyone should experience.
