ISA – Florence University of the Arts – Florence, Italy (spring 2012)

Hi my name is Brian! I studied in Florence for a semester while living outside the city with my friend and his family.  If you have any plans on studying in Italy I am the man to talk to! It was an amazing experience and it is something I will never forget.  I made new friends from here and abroad and I feel that I now have a second home in another part of the world.  I now have a family abroad to go back to during the summer and a city which I am as familiar with as my home city.  The educational aspect of it is fantastic, just as good as going to Ramapo, but that is only a minute portion of studying abroad.  I cannot convey enough how important it is to take this once and a lifetime opportunity and go! I went through ISA and the staff and school were beyond fantastic.  My professors were incredibly nice and knowledgeable.  The commute was easy and worth taking every day seeing as I got to explore new parts of the city every time I went out. The food was unique and amazing; the people couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming and the scenery is beyond picturesque.  I recommend whole-heartedly that you make Italy your number one choice if you plan to go abroad.  I can help you and answer any questions you may have about the people, cities, restaurants, or even just getting around.  Feel free to stop in and chat if you have any questions about going abroad.
