In 2020, Dax Strohmeyer, the company’s CEO, named this award (formerly the Triangle Manufacturing Scholarship) in memory of his late father, Neal W. Strohmeyer, Triangle CEO from 1987 to 2020. Neal had established the Triangle Scholarship in recognition and appreciation of the Ramapo College MBA Capstone Consulting Project, a  fifteen week MBA program where a team of Ramapo students work with an assigned company to solve a real business problem outside of the classroom. Triangle was a participant in this program for the first time in 2019 and was impressed with the work of the students and problem solving the team achieved.

The intent of the Neal W. Strohmeyer Memorial Scholarship is to recognize MBA students who demonstrate innovative thinking, a collaborative spirit, and strong leadership skills.
