Sebak Family Scholarship

Brian Sebak earned his accounting degree from Ramapo in 2012, and is a CPA and president of the accounting firm of Sebak and Monner Associates with offices in Morristown, West Long Branch and Holmdel. He serves on the Alumni Association board. This award was created by to benefit students in the Anisfield School of Business who are undergrad or graduate accounting students.

2025 Recipient

Andrew Guevara

Andrew Guevara of Roxbury, N.J. is an Accounting major in the Master’s of Science in Accounting (MSAC). He has a 3.8 GPA, and he has consistently maintained a spot on the Dean’s List every semester.

Beyond his academic achievements, he has actively participated in various organizations and leadership roles at Ramapo. As the Captain of the Ramapo Men’s Swim Team, he exemplifies leadership by setting a positive example, holding teammates accountable, and cultivating a culture of dedication and teamwork. His leadership extends beyond the swimming pool as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and as a member of the Accounting Club. Andrew’s accomplishments showcase his academic excellence and strong leadership abilities.

In the future, he aspires to pursue a career in public accounting with a specific goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His dedication, discipline, and unwavering drive are poised to contribute significantly to his success in the financial services industry.


2024 Recipient

Alyse Turk

Alyse Turk of Wayne N.J. is an Accounting major in the MBA 4+1 program with a 3.8 GPA and has been on the Dean’s List every semester since she has been at Ramapo. She is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

At Ramapo, Alyse is an active member of Ramapo’s accounting club, Leaders in Service, and is working for SARM at Ramapo’s financial department. This past summer, Alyse worked full-time as a personal banker at Valley Bank. She learned how to manage money, work with clients’ money, and learned marketing through product promotions. 

After graduation, Alyse plans to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
