Major/Minor: Major: Social Work Minor: Anthropology, Crime and Justice Studies

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: Cultural Diversity with Dr.Timmesha Butler has been the most enlightening and discussion-engaging class I have had at Ramapo. She is so intuitive with the events that affect different communities in the world and how to combat it.

Favorite Place on Campus: I love the 4th floor of the Ramao library because I get to watch the sunset, people watch, and do my work simultaneously.

Clubs/organizations: Students of Caribbean Ancestry: Vice President; Organization of Latino Unity: Secretary; First Generation Student Center: Intern

Future Plans: I am planning to do fieldwork outside and inside of campus for my BSW program. However, I am excited to work as a social policy analyst in the future, to work with policy developers to make equitable and effective policies for communities in the U.S.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “If you don’t like something, change it, if you can’t change it change your attitude” – Maya Angelou

Advice for First-Year Students: If you’re ever unsure about being involved on campus, just do it! Nine times out of ten you will thrive or you can always take a break.
