Class of: 2025

Major/Minor: History Major

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class I have taken so far is The American West. Professor Koenig has provided me with so much new history that I have never learned before all of it dealing with one of my favorite themes in history, The American West. I have also learned so many new ways to learn history. ex: digital mapping.

Favorite Place on Campus: Walking up the path to the arch during the spring and early fall. Seeing all the trees in full bloom, especially the cherry blossom trees, is one of the most beautiful parts of this campus.

Clubs/Organizations: Ramapo Silverbacks Baseball and Tau Kappa Epsilon

Future Plans: I plan to become a history teacher, eventually striving to become a professor down the road. I would also like to learn a language to teach as well.

Favorite Inspirational Quote:  “Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armoury of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.” ~ James Allen

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. It is amazing how much you learn not only about certain aspects, but specifically yourself. The more involved you become and the more challenges you face, the more you become the best version of yourself.
