There are more career options than the traditional path of becoming a fine or studio artist and showing your work in galleries or museums. Many artists create illustrations for national publications including magazines and newspapers. Others become illustrators for books, advertising, clothing lines and fashion, textile design, and many other outlets. Some graduates go on to teaching careers or graduate school.
