The Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) Bootcamp

Students who complete the Ramapo College IGG Certificate Program, as well as other experienced IGG practitioners, will have the opportunity to expand and practice their skills at a week-long summer IGG Bootcamp offered on the campus at Ramapo College. There, students will work intensively on a real case and learn to adapt their skills to the variety of roadblocks that inevitably appear in any case.

Bootcamp is held in our Investigative Genetic Genealogy Lab, where casework can be performed in a secure space for IGG teamwork and communication.

Students at previous IGG Bootcamps have generated investigative leads in cases of wrongful conviction as well as unidentified human remains cases.

• June 23-27, 2025
• Price: $2,500 (includes participation in IGG Bootcamp, dormitory, and meals)

Applications will be approved on a rolling basis with all accepted applicants notified by March 31, 2025.
