Passionate about promoting social justice on campus? Become a Diversity Peer Educator.
Equity & Diversity Programs is offering a training program in multicultural awareness and diversity issues. This training program will give interested students the opportunity to become aware of their own identities and biases. Upon completion of the training program, Diversity Peer Educators (DPEs) will be able to facilitate and host programs, movie screenings and presentations on the various topics relating to diversity on campus.

Discussion on how the college will develop and promote curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular, and extra-curricular programs that demonstrate the value of diversity, self-awareness, examination of multiple perspectives, and respect for others. The college will also recruit and retain employees who reflect and are committed to diversity and inclusiveness.
Discussion how the college will create a safe and supportive environment for all, with particular consideration toward members of under represented and marginalized groups. The college will also explain how it will retain and continue to grow a diverse student population.
