- Housing assignment inventory will be conducted before arrival; each intern will receive a report via email.
- Review the inventory within 48 hours and report any discrepancies to corpintern@ramapo.edu.
- Submit the Housing Agreement online to secure a housing assignment.
- First month’s rent and housing (damage) deposit are due at check-in. Deposit refunds (if applicable) will be processed in October.

Parking & Mail
- Free on-campus parking for one vehicle per intern (permit required). Additional permits have fees; see the Cost Information Page.
- Interns receive a campus mailbox at no extra cost, but mail delivery may be limited during the summer. For time-sensitive mail, we recommend sending it directly to the internship site.
- Amazon lockers (“Ming”) are available outside the Thomases Commons.
Rules & Expectations
- Interns must follow all Ramapo College policies, including alcohol, drugs, fire safety, and general student housing regulations.
- The entire campus is alcohol-prohibited during the summer. Policy violations may result in fines ($50+), housing dismissal, and notification to the corporate contact.
- Only assigned residents may live in apartments. Special arrangements may be made for married couples or personal partners upon request.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: Refer to the Timeline on the Corporate Intern Website for the first available check-in date. Requests for early arrival cannot be accommodated.
- Check-out: Refer to the Timeline for the last date/time to vacate apartments. Late stay requests cannot be granted due to maintenance and fall preparations.
- All check-in arrangements must be confirmed via email in advance.
- Housing assignments are first-come, first-served. Interns may request apartment-mates in the Housing Agreement or via email, but assignments may prioritize maximizing occupancy.
