Join us for three amazing animation showcases. First, the Thomas Edison Film Festival Special Animation Selection, a curated program of amazing animations from around the world, followed by the Young NJ Animation Showcase, and finally the Student Ani-Fest where area high schools and colleges share animations in celebration of local talent.

Anyone 12+ is eligible for three separate hour-long workshops, one in 3D animation, one in Directing for Animation, and in Compositing for Animation & VFX. Limited Availability  $15ea:

1:30pm-2:30pm Animation Workshop –Directing for Animation (Ages 12+)  $15
Directing for Animation with film director Neel Scott: Covers directorial choices made by animators to articulate a story such as shot size, type, angle, “camera” movement, composition

2:30pm-3:30pm Animation Workshop –3D Computer Animation (Ages 12+) $15
3D Computer Animation with Visual Arts Animators Grace Velarde, Aayush Karki and Mia Schutz: Experiment with professional software to animate and light your own short piece.

3:30pm-4:30pm Animation Workshop- Compositing For VFX (Ages 12+) $15
Compositing for VFX and Animation with Motion Designer Bonnie Blake covers the basics of layering animation, video and still assets to create complex scenes.
