“I chose to study abroad in Paris, France, for the fall 2013 semester, and I consider it one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My number one goal was to improve my French and living with a host family that didn’t speak English made this easy. I looked forward to spending each night with my host parents and learning the language over baguettes and the wonderful multi-course French dinners. Similarly, each trip to the patisserie or boulangerie became a way for me to immerse myself in the rich French culture. While in Europe, I also took the opportunity to travel within the country as well as within Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands. After four months I found myself speaking more French than English and conversing with friends from every continent.” – Kyle Langston ’15 graduated with a degree in Law and Society.
