Spring 2024 Meetings TBD

We are made up of colleagues who are interested in discussing and learning about social media topics over the course of an Academic Year. Members include administration, faculty, staff, and/or students who are either social media administrators/supervisors for Ramapo-related accounts or who are just interested in furthering their expertise.

This group enables cross-campus involvement in the following areas:

  • Unity on the College’s policy and procedures
  • Enable greater ability to find/create/promote content
  • Brainstorming sessions
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Elimination of duplication of efforts
  • Share and further the reach of points of pride such as success stories and student accomplishments
  • Collaboration on new projects
  • Enable members to share best practices or new finds
  • Increase ways to share and develop student content

This group will have a variety of meeting styles:

  • Presentations
  • Info Sessions
  • Training sessions
  • Coffee house sessions

To aid in member involvement and professional development, members can participate and communicate outside of meetings through the proposed hashtag #RCNJsocial and through our GroupMe.

We hope to meet once a month or 3-4 times a semester.
