Joe Cambria was born in the Bronx, NY, the youngest child of immigrant Italian parents. Growing up as the youngest among three sisters, he developed patience and a gift for listening. As a result, people naturally sought out Joe for advice, from colleagues to nieces and nephews.
Joe spent more than 30 years in the HVAC industry, rising into management while instilling the values of hard work and integrity in his two sons. He had three great loves in life: his wife, Jolaine, his childhood sweetheart and to whom he was married for 30 years, his family and music. While he enjoyed country music, he especially loved any song that gave him the chance to dance with his wife.
Joe was taken from us far too soon. In his memory, his family established this scholarship to support those who create music that brings people together, creates lasting memories, and inspires others to dance with the ones they love.
