1STEP (Students Together For Environmental Progress)

1STEP works to make positive, measurable changes on the Ramapo College campus by promoting a sustainable environment. We take small steps that turn into big results in reducing carbon emissions, college costs and preserving the environment.

BeekeepingBeekeeping Club

The Beekeeping Club are the caretakers of the hives installed behind the Sustainability Education Center, by the New Jersey Beekeepers’ Association (NJBA). The club consists of many levels of beekeeping so all are welcome to come in and learn more about how you too can become a beekeeper!  Even if bees are beyond your comfort zone, you can still participate in the educational campaigns, the crafting activities that we’ll be doing with the beeswax and honey, and other upcoming events!

PlantStrongPlant Strong

Plant Strong Ramapo is a plant-based student group at Ramapo College dedicated to making compassionate, healthy food choices! Welcoming vegans, vegetarians and the veggie-curious to create a Plant Strong Ramapo!

Garden Club

The Garden Club manages the Student-run garden located between the Sharp Sustainability Education Center and the Village.  It also helps manage the Wildflower Meadow, and the SLE Garden behind CPA Redwood.

General Meetings: 2nd and 4th Monday, each Month at 4:00 PM in A-220

Geocaching Club

Have you always liked scavenger hunts? If so, you will love Geocaching! Geocaching is a real world outdoor treasure hunt using GPS coordinates. There are over 2 million Geocaches hidden around the world! All you need is a smartphone or a handheld GPS device and a sense of adventure.
