FYS Class:

Class of: 2026

Major/Minor: Biology Pre-med/Spanish Minor

Resident/Commuter:

Favorite Class: My favorite class right now would be genetics because of all of the possibilities and ramifications it has.. I believe it is so fascinating how you can gain a deeper understanding of the building block of life.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the library because it is honestly the only location I’m always at, especially cause I can focus on studying and getting all of my work done.

Clubs/organizations: Pre-med club

Future Plans: I will be taking a Fire 1 class this summer so that I may become a firefighter. I plan on applying to work at an organization/hospital as an EMT to get experience with patient care before graduating. I wish to see as well if I can join the Dive team, which is a part of my fire company. After graduation, I plan to apply for PA school and maybe apply to become a medical examiner.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value” – Albert Einstein

Advice for First-Year Students: Prioritize time management and do not push yourself to where you cannot balance everything. Look for academic support when needed, we provide great tutoring support and as well as that get involved on campus to make friends and look for things that may interest you.
