Favorite Class: My favorite class was my FYS class that I took in Fall 2022. The class focused on different methods of teaching, diverse classes of students, and the effect teachers have on their students. We watched different movies and compared them through essays. Each movie was so interesting and taught you about various classrooms that exist today, and the consequences that certain teaching styles have on the teachers’ relationships with the students. We had so many meaningful and productive discussions in the class which made it very memorable and definitely one of my favorites.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is by the Arch. Sitting there in the spring when all the flowers on the trees have bloomed is so beautiful and peaceful. It’s so nice to sit there to hang out with friends and catch up on homework while enjoying the scenery. Plus, it’s very close to the Atrium and Starbucks so you can grab a drink and food while hanging out!

Clubs/organizations: -First responder at Lodi Volunteer Ambulance Rescue Squad -Orientation Leader

Future Plans: I plan to go to PA school after graduating from Ramapo. After getting my master’s degree, I want to work as a PA and help others to the best of my ability.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.”

Advice for First-Year Students: Although you may feel lonely when first transitioning to college life, you aren’t alone. There are many resources on campus for you to use and people that are there for you, including your peers from your first year seminar.
