FYS Class:

Class of: 2026

Major/Minor: Communication Arts: Visual Communication Design

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class is social science inquiry class right now because I feel that I learn so much and I get to hear a lot of different people’s perspectives on diverse and very important topics. These topics include, race, class, sex/gender, homosexuality, transgenderism, and more.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place is probably student center because it is always so lively, but it’s also a great place to eat, hang out, and get work done simultaneously. Best of all worlds!

Clubs/organizations: Besides being a peer now, I used to be involved with UAA, but my work and class conflicts with the meeting time. I am also interested in potentially joining a multicultural sorority! In the future, I want to get more involved in sports potentially, the BSU, and be more present within the multicultural center.

Future Plans: I plan to keep my current marketing internship next semester, I want to become an art director, design my own clothes, produce music, model in a fashion show, and study abroad somewhere (Europe or Africa).

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Life’s valleys don’t last forever!

Advice for First-Year Students: Please be yourself and explore your interests. Don’t be scared to try something new because you only have one life to live!
