TD Bank Summer Concert Series 2011(MAHWAH, NJ) – The best of rock, pop and country tribute bands will headline the 2011 TD Bank Summer Concert Series hosted by The Ramapo College Foundation on the college campus.  On four Thursday evenings in July, families from across the region will listen to great music and enjoy a picnic with friends on the Bandshell lawn.   The line up:

July 7 – The Bronx Wanderers
This tribute band to the fabulous Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and Dion will feature crowd favorites including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Run Around Sue,” “The Wanderer,” among others.  The majority of their chart toppers came during the 1960s, but their music, and that of Dion, is timeless.

July 14 – 52nd Street Band
Experience and sing along to an exciting tribute to Billy Joel.  The band creates a sound and stage presence of the Piano Man as they play the artist’s most popular tunes.

July 21 – Little Deuce Coupe
Little Deuce Coupe is the ultimate tribute to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame group, The Beach Boys.  From “Surfin’ U.S.A.” to “Good Vibrations,” enjoy a feel good night of the band’s trademark California, summer sound.

July 28 – Ring of Fire Band
The band pays homage to one of country music’s icons, Johnny Cash.  Michael Patrick not only captures the sight of the “Man in Black,” but Cash’s booming, deep voice.

The concerts, held at the Bandshell on the College campus, begin at 8 p.m.  Concerts are free; parking is $5 per vehicle.  Following the first concert on July 7, Ramapo College will host a fireworks display by Garden State Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.  Fireworks rain date is July 14.  In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Bradley Center Arena on July 14 and 21 and in the Berrie Center on July 7 and 28.   For more information or to request disability-related accommodations, please call 201.684.7093.
