“While at Ramapo I volunteered in Peru and studied abroad in Argentina. After graduating in 2011, I worked for the Junta de Andalucía in Spain as a Linguistic and Cultural Assistant.”

“I recently moved to the Boulder, CO area and started working at the Spanish Institute. It is a Spanish language teaching school which offers classes to adults and works with the school districts to provide after school programs to schools that don’t offer Spanish classes. I’ve taken the position of Office Manager/ Program Coordinator/ Substitute Teacher.”

“All of these experiences, along with my classes at Ramapo, prepared me for my position at the Spanish Institute. I’m so grateful that I get to work with an organization that creates its own curriculum and works with the Hispanic community to bring the Spanish language to non-native speakers.”
