Stephen Ferraro

Stephen sits at a desk. He is wearing a blue button down shirt. He has a lanyard around his neck. He is smiling at us.

“Ramapo College was an incredible experience that was life-changing. It helped me meet new friends, explore different interests, and learn perspective-taking. Not to mention, it helped me find an internship and career. The education was truly a rich one, in which I learned a lot about psychology, business, and research/technical skills. You should certainly take advantage of a study abroad, the school’s activities, and dorm life. Ramapo prepared me for the necessary skills in grad school and earning a doctorate in Education. Even though I had a change in careers from human resources to education, my college experience all related to the skills I need to today.” – Stephen Ferraro ’09 graduated with a degree in Psychology and a Business Essentials Certificate. He studied abroad in Urbino, Italy through Ramapo College. He earned an MA in Teaching from Saint Peter’s University in 2010, an MA in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University in 2012, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Saint Peter’s University in 2017. Stephen earned a Faculty Award in Psychology from Ramapo College and did independent study in Human Resources – Leadership Coaching from Ramapo College. Stephen is currently the Dean of Students at Ridgefield Park Jr.-Sr. High School.
