Meryl Dorais

Ramapo Success Story

“During the spring 2016 semester, I studied abroad in Ireland at the University College of Dublin. I lived on campus with five other American roommates while also taking four courses pertaining to my major. Traveling off campus and around Ireland did involve getting to know their bus system pretty well, but it added a good sense of direction and independence to my experience. Additionally, despite the cold and rain, it was worth every second. Overall, the Irish culture, atmosphere and lifestyle of the country provided me with an incredible experience that I will always cherish and remember. I also was able to affordably travel to different countries in Europe. What an experience! As a Global Roadrunner, I hope to express to other Ramapo students how studying abroad in not only Ireland, but anywhere around the globe, can be the best decision you’ll ever make.” – Meryl Dorais ’17 graduated with a degree in Accounting. At Ramapo, Meryl was a member of the Accounting Club, an SGA Delegate, and had an internship with Arthur Schuman.
