Marianne Brennan

Ramapo Success Story

“Being a student at Ramapo has helped shape me into the person I am today. The education I’ve received, especially my experience in the Literature program, has been the stepping stone leading to my current achievement of having my work published. It has also encouraged me to pursue my master’s in Library Science and a career as a librarian. I’m incredibly grateful for my experience here.” – Marianne Brennan ’16 graduated with a degree in Literature and a minor in Psychology. Marianne was published for her short story “Fairest of Them All,” in the seventh issue of the biannual undergraduate online literary magazine Outrageous Fortune. She was a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. She received The Founding President George T. Potter and Laurie Potter, Ph.D. Scholarship, The Franklin Lakes Lions Club Scholarship, and the R. L. Gillette Scholarship. Marianne also had an internship with Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library.
