Grant Korten

“During my time at Ramapo, I have been able to pursue my career in law enforcement as well as grow as a person. A great group of friends and fantastic professors in the Sociology Department, in addition to being involved in different organizations, has given me a strong understanding of what it takes to be a leader. The possibility for success is endless now. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice to attend Ramapo. It is a gift that will benefit me for the rest of my life.” – Grant Korten ‘16 graduated with a degree in Sociology with concentration in Criminology and a minor in Substance Abuse. On campus, Grant served as the vice president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, a board member of the Ramapo College Disciplinary Board and a judicial chair representative of IFC. He held an internship at the Mahwah Police Department and was a dispatcher with the Upper Saddle River Police Department. Since the summer of 2015, Grant is a Class 1 Police Officer with the East Brunswick Police Department.
