Gianna Acevedo

Ramapo Success Story

“During the spring of 2014, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain.  Barcelona was everything I hoped it would be. It is a city filled with a tremendous amount of culture, especially its buildings and architecture, which is unlike any other city in the world. The cathedrals, parks and beaches are only a few of the places which make Barcelona breathtaking and unique. The Catalan language also is a special feature of the city. Living with the people of Barcelona for a semester changed my life in the best possible ways. I made friends from all over the world, perfected my Spanish and traveled throughout seven different European countries.  Studying abroad is an unforgettable experience every student should take advantage of.” – Gianna Acevedo ’15 graduated with a degree in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Substance Abuse.
