“Ramapo College not only provided me with a quality education, it also facilitated numerous opportunities for self-discovery. While at Ramapo, I developed the confidence to pursue my academic interests and ultimately a graduate degree. The small classes enabled me to take ownership of my education and to discover my passion for learning. My professors were dedicated and invested in my education. One of the highlights was when I published an article and presented it at a national conference with one of my professors. I was honored to be involved with student organizations and serve on several executive boards. These experiences motivated me to try new things, introduced me to like-minded peers and allowed me to grow as a leader. I can honestly say I would not be where I am today without Ramapo.” — Gabriela (DeCandia) Brown ‘10 graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Studies and received the Outstanding Academic Achievement in Psychology Award.
