While still a student at Ramapo College, Dobromir “Dobri” Yordanov ’15 received a prestigious and highly competitive internship with Google (and their YouTube team). Google flew Yordanov out to California for their orientation and he took part in their summer work program in Cambridge, MA. After his internship, Dorbri was offered a full time job as a Google Software Engineer and he started immediately after he graduated in May 2015.
Dobri says, “It was my faculty advisor who suggested I apply to Google, and connected me to a Ramapo alumna who currently works there. Both my advisor and my alumni connection helped revise my resume and prepare my application to best suit the position at Google. My advisor was very supportive during my whole interview process and I am very thankful for that.”
Dobri has also lent his programming skills to the Ramapo College website and intranet as a student aide for two years in the Office of Marketing and Communications.
