“Being a Law and Society Major at Ramapo has helped my career and personal growth. The program offers the unique opportunity to have a 1-1 connection with the faculty and students. The program has helped me think critically and understand how the law is connected to society. Some of my favorite and most challenging courses were Legal Research and Field Work Studies. Both courses helped me with intense research on micro and macro levels. Aside from the major, I have met my closest friends that share similar aspirations. I have had the opportunity to develop my resume and join many extracurricular activities that have helped me obtain internships. My recent internship is being a Data Analyst for the legal department at New Jersey Transit.” – Aime Lara ’24 is a Law & Society major with double minors in Human Rights & Genocides and in Marketing.
