“Ramapo is a coming together of cultures, and it strives continuously to make smooth the cultural transition for international students. Semester-long events are centered on the interests of international students, but there is also involvement of other student body organizations. This interaction has helped me and other students coming from different cultural background to acclimate quickly to the Ramapo community. At Ramapo, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved. Within my first six months at Ramapo, I have become involved in a variety of organizations and clubs. Ramapo has exposed me to several responsibilities and opportunities, which have accelerated my growth and made me a civically engaged individual.” – Achyut Gautam ’19 is an international honors freshman majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science.
