Ramapo Success Story

“Being at Ramapo College has been a joyous journey, given the amazingly supportive and unselfish colleagues who want you to succeed in every endeavor. This has made it incredibly easy to be there for students from every perspective and to provide them with well-designed, relevant and applicable knowledge on a daily basis. It has only been three years since I joined Ramapo and already I have had the opportunity to develop new courses, and have been provided grant funds to support undergraduate research, start new student chapters to promote leadership and management across campus, and engage in several in-house and international conferences.

As a faculty member, being there for students as they wade through myriad academic options before choosing their best match is a truly blessed place to be. As hard as the various challenging assignments we put forth in the classroom are for students, it is heartening to note their gratitude at the end of every semester when they appreciate the rigor and care taken by you as an instructor when preparing the course. Among many such students who have expressed their joy and gratitude, one student this past semester had this to say, “I just wanted to say thank you for a great class and semester! As a visual arts major business classes are not my cup of tea and you made it fun for me to learn about it.”
