“Ramapo College is truly a hidden gem that provides me with a warm and comfortable place to grow intellectually and socially. Coming from a small high school and town, the environment at Ramapo is a perfect fit. Right from my first semester, I have been surrounded by devoted professors and made lifelong friends that make me look forward to coming to campus. The looks of the campus are truly unbeatable, especially in the springtime, as all of the greenery begins to bloom. The liberal arts element of Po truly gives me a well-rounded perspective, something that is critical in today’s world and helped me to become more open to other perspectives, even in the business world. The academic standard, particularly in the Honors Program, is detailed and challenging, which further develops critical thinking skills and precision.

I have the privilege of working at the Small Business Development Center on campus with the Economic Recovery Task Force. I have great mentors that encourage the application of knowledge gained in the classroom to client work. Assisting small businesses in Bergen County has truly brought me great satisfaction. Looking over financial statements, completing market research, facilitating funding requests, among many other tasks truly adds to my business knowledge and skills.

In my remaining time at Ramapo, I hope to conduct research with the ASB faculty in finance and economics. I have been chosen as the Alternate Student Trustee, where I will be working with the Board of Trustees to continue making Ramapo a quality educational institution. I look forward to working with all of the stakeholders on campus, especially with my fellow students. Ramapo College has been a blessing for me and has already made a tremendous mark on my life.”
