Ramapo Success Story

“College is more than time spent in a classroom; it’s also about how you use the knowledge gained to become a successful and innovative member of society. The support of Ramapo College for student entrepreneurship clubs, such as Enactus, has enabled me to take what I am learning in my classes and apply it to real-world situations. I am the Project Manager of Enactus’ Campus Sustainability Initiative and, along with my team, conducted research and developed a Residence Hall Composting Program that has piloted this spring in Quad 1 of the Village. Thus far, we have collected more than 290 pounds of organic material that has been added to our campus garden compost pile. I have gotten the chance to work with various students, faculty and administration to truly make our College become more environmentally friendly. Through communication with Facilities and Residence Life, we are planning to expand the program for the fall. This has taught me valuable research, management and marketing skills that will undoubtedly help me in the business world.” – Erin Albright ’18 graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Accounting. Erin’s accomplishments include receiving the Student Leadership Award: Outstanding Leadership by a Sophomore Student. Erin was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society and Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity. She was an intern for the summer of 2016 at Givaudan Fragrances Corporation.
