Bridget O'Keefe

In addition to majoring in American Studies, Bridget O’Keefe ’15 completed a minor in Human Rights and Genocide Studies. She studied abroad in Denmark, where she focused on children’s rights and human trafficking, and in the summer of 2014, worked as an intern for the Figment Project in New York City. Her paper “Happiness, Womanhood, and Sexualized Media: An Analysis of 1950s and 1960s Popular Culture” was published last year in New Errands: The Undergraduate Journal of American Studies. During her time at Ramapo, Bridget was a Peer Facilitator for the Living-Learning Community and also an Academic Peer Coach for the Office of Specialized Services. Bridget graduated in December 2015 and now lives and works in Portland, Maine as an account resolution specialist for Maine Medical Center.
