Emily Egner

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ramapo College and became involved in many activities. One of the highlights was when I studied abroad at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic, for the spring 2014 semester. I wanted to go to Prague because I knew nothing about the city or the culture. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and push myself to become more independent. Every day was a new adventure. My favorite part of studying abroad was trying new things, whether it was a food I had never heard of or an extreme thing I had always been too afraid to try (like white water rafting in Croatia). There is so much to learn while traveling, not just about the cities and history, but also about yourself. The whole experience truly changed my life.”– Emily Egner ’15 graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

While at Ramapo, she established herself as a campus leader, joining the College Programming Board in its first semester in existence as a committee member and president for three years. She worked with The Center for Student Involvement and was part of the Global Roadrunners, Judicial Review Board and Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society. She also was involved in Student Government Association and was a Ramapo Ambassador. In May 2013 she was a recipient of the Outstanding Leadership by a Sophomore Award.
