Courtney Brach

“I transferred to Ramapo in fall 2010 as a junior, and it proved to be the right decision. Thanks to Ramapo’s strong writing and literature courses, as well as valuable internship opportunities, I was well prepared for my career. I am currently employed by Touchstone, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. I work on publicity campaigns for a variety of books, including women’s fiction and lifestyle titles. I work with many different authors, including former U.S. Cabinet members, and talk show hosts such as fellow alumna Grace Helbig. I wrote an article, “Revisiting Ian McEwan’s Masterpiece,” which was published by Huffington Post in February 2015 and my manuscript, The Bevin Boy, was a quarterfinalist in the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award for general fiction.” – Courtney Brach ’12 graduated summa cum laude with a Communication Arts degree with a concentration in Writing. Her accomplishments while at Ramapo include: Dean’s List, 2012 Ramapo Student Employee of the Year Nominee for Student Assistant Program; 2012 Outstanding Academic Achievement Award Recipient and 2011-2012 Golden Key International Honor Society member.
