Richard Conboy

“Ramapo allowed me to fulfill my passion with education. My Assistive Technology class allowed me to pursue a new adventure in my life by beginning my journey as an entrepreneur. My Ramapo professors and colleagues are continuing to help me achieve my new goals to bring a new special education assistive technology product to market!” – Richard Conboy `22 `23 graduated summa cum laude with both his Bachelor of Arts in History and Master of Arts in Special Education from Ramapo College.

He currently works as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher in Roy W. Brown Middle School for the Bergenfield School District in New Jersey. Richard continues to work at the JCCOTP in Tenafly, NJ with special needs campers and students, where he first started his career in special education and teaching. He is also a volunteer firefighter in Dumont, NJ.
