“Ramapo College taught me how to push boundaries throughout every new journey in my life. While at Ramapo, I was given the opportunity to hold many leadership positions. Some of my positions included: SGA Vice President, Pi Sigma Alpha President, Phi Alpha Delta President, and Golden Key Honor Society Vice President. These positions taught me to work as a team, communicate with my classmates, and to think strategically. They also led me to eventually receive The Jerome Lee Memorial Award for Outstanding Leadership and The Outstanding Academic Achievement in Political Science Award. I have taken the skills that I acquired in these roles with me as I advance my career in the legal field.

In addition, Ramapo provided me with a tremendous support system. Throughout my studies at Ramapo, I was constantly encouraged by my classmates and professors to pursue my goal of becoming an attorney. My professors always had their doors open and never ceased to provide me with endless advice. Each of my professors left a mark on me because I have kept their words in mind as I advanced through law school. The personalized mentorship that Ramapo provides each of its students with is what sets Ramapo apart from other colleges.

On June 1, 2022, I graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law. In August of 2022, I will begin a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Judge Joseph G. Monaghan in the Superior Court of Bergen County. I am so grateful to Ramapo College for all of the knowledge and mentorship that has led me to this achievement.” – Sabrina Santamaria ’19 graduated with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and minors in Women’s & Gender Studies and in Public Policy.
