Hannah Trouf

“I am so grateful for my time at Ramapo College. Encouraging professors and peers inspired me to explore numerous areas of study I found interest in, making my education here extremely well-rounded. I always knew I wanted to incorporate humanities and philosophy courses within my degree, and it was the opportunities available at Ramapo that allowed me to deepen my longtime love of technology and discover a newfound passion for business.

During the Summer of 2021, I was fortunate enough to intern at the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Ramapo, serving on the Startup Economic Recovery Task Force. The team (composed of Ramapo interns and professional business consultants) offers small businesses in Bergen County no-cost counseling and resources to help their businesses thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic. I gained such valuable experience working directly with clients and leading various projects, and was even invited to represent the SBDC when Governor Murphy signed the Small Business Relief Bill into law.

Since then, I have been working as the Student Assistant for SBDC and continue to work on various business plans and other projects. My time with the SBDC truly has been the highlight of my Ramapo College experience and introduced such exciting educational and career possibilities after graduation.” – Hannah Trouf ’22 graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology Management with a minor in Philosophy. At Ramapo, Hannah was an NJSBDC Ambassador.
