“Ramapo College provided me with many opportunities such as tutoring at the Center for Reading &Writing, working in the EOF program, participating in Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society, student teaching at Mahwah High School, and eventually landing my first job as a leave replacement English teacher at Lakeland Regional High School. The connections I formed, both with friends and faculty, have been essential in my success after Ramapo. I am forever grateful for the English Department. To have studied literature under such dedicated and knowledgeable professors has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege. Ramapo College prepared me well for my career as a teacher.” – Rob Lenza ’20 graduated with a dual-bachelor’s degree in Literature and Education. He has received the The Record Scholarship and Professor Robert J Christopher Memorial Scholarship. Rob is currently an English Teacher at Holy Spirit High School and teaches AP Literature & Composition, Advanced English I, and Advanced American Literature.
