Sean Dabney

“Ramapo is full of opportunities for everyone. No matter what your interests are, you can find avenues through which to pursue them and meet friendly, like-minded people along the way. Ramapo enabled me to pursue my academic, artistic, and spiritual interests by allowing me to combine Philosophy, Gerontology, and Psychology into a contract major; offering an inclusive, cutting-edge Theater Program; and providing yoga and meditation groups that met on an almost daily basis. I also had the opportunity to travel to Ghost Ranch in New Mexico through Ramapo’s Alternative Spring Break Program. The sheer scope of what Ramapo has to offer is remarkable.” – Sean Dabney ’17 graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Philosophy. While at Ramapo, Sean performed in seven main stage theater productions, including the role of George in “Of Mice and Men,” Macduff in “Macbeth,” and Mr. Burns in “Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play.” He completed research in “Free Will in Tolstoy’s War and Peace/A Fresh Look at Dream Consciousness.” Sean is now the Research Coordinator for Columbia University Medical Center Nurture Science Program at the Valley Hospital.
