Jenny Wankmuller

Ramapo Success Story

“Course restrictions and a variety of activities prevented me from traveling during the fall and spring semesters, so I decided to spend a month in the summer of 2016 abroad in Madrid, Spain.

Even though a month seems like a short time, I had countless amazing experiences. I completed two courses at a small university that went toward my minor and had incredible professors. I got to engage in the lifestyle of Spain from morning to late into the night each day as I explored the city. In addition to getting to know Madrid very well, every weekend I was on a train or a bus to another area of Spain, including Barcelona, Toledo, Valencia, Segovia, Salamanca, and a handful of less tourist-packed areas.

I became a Global Roadrunner to advocate studying abroad as it is an experience that will help you learn a lot about another culture and also about yourself.” – Jenny Wankmuller ’18 graduated with a Communication Arts degree and a Spanish minor. Jenny was a member of the Women’s Track and Field Team.
