Ramapo Success Story

“For the past 18-plus years, Ramapo has been a part of my family and a place I call home. When I attended Ramapo as an undergrad, the professors did nothing short of prepping me for life after college. When I was lucky enough to be hired by my alma mater, the faculty and staff embraced me and welcomed me with open arms. I’m not sure where I would be today if it were not for Ramapo College. I earned my degree here, was hired as part of an amazing community, met my husband here, and now have a daughter who is growing up knowing all the ins and outs about the campus and the Roadrunners. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to take the path I have driven since entering college. I would not want it any other way and I cannot thank Ramapo, the faculty and staff, the administration, and most importantly the students for making my journey one that I will never forget.” – Rachel L. Pinton ’01 graduated with a degree in Communications with a focus on Graphic Design. While at Ramapo, Rachel was a varsity athlete on the women’s soccer team. Rachel received her Master’s of Science in Sports Administration in 2015 from American Military University and is currently the Director of Sports Information, Marketing and Planning at Ramapo College.
