About Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is an annual event established by the Ramapo College of New Jersey Board of Trustees in 2005 to “memorialize the death of members of the campus community and outside individuals who have significantly contributed to the institution and to the campus community.” The event provides an opportunity to pause, remember and celebrate the contributions and lives of those whose memories continue to make Ramapo College a special community. Family members, friends, and members of the community are invited to attend this ceremony which includes a memorial plaque at an on-campus planting site.

If you have any questions, please contact: remembrance@ramapo.edu or review College Policy 476: Memorial.
