The Office of the President hosted the second summit of The Future Series on December 2, 2021. The summit, The Future of Society: Conflict, Culture, and Character, featured a fireside chat with President Jebb, Leslie T. Fenwick, Ph.D., Dean Emerita of the Howard University School of Education and Professor of Education Policy, and H. Patrick Swygert, J.D., President Emeritus of Howard University and Professor of Law. Particpants included students, faculty, staff, and trustees who engaged in small group activities focused on cultivating an organizational culture that derives its future successes by being, foremost, in the service of others.
Dr. Fenwick and Mr. Swygert also met with student leaders for a roundtable discussion on “Becoming a Leader Without Losing Who You Are: A Conversation on Identity, Ethics, and Growth.” The roundtable program was coordinated by the Office of the Provost, Office of the President, and the Office of Equity, DIversity, Inclusion, and Compliance.
The Future Series includes four dynamic summits that, by exploring the context within which Ramapo College considers its future, will set the conditions for strategic thinking.
