FYS Class:

Class of: 2028

Major/Minor: Psychology

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class I have taken so far has been my First Year Seminar class, The films of Alfred Hitchcock with Professor Daffron! I love to take a deeper look and analyze things including films, which made this class was super intellectually stimulating and fun. On top of this, Professor Daffron was extremely funny and engaging, making this class one to look forward to for me during my first semester at Ramapo!

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus has to be the grove. It is always so relaxing to sit out there in the heart of campus surrounded by the nature. It helps me to get my work done easier, and is also just a great place to hangout and listen to music when the weather is nice!

Clubs/organizations: I am a proud member of Ramapo’s choral clubs, Skylark and Cantanova! I love singing in such a wonderful group of musicians and performing with the group!

Future Plans: After completing my four years at Ramapo for psychology, I plan to complete a master program, and possibly a doctorate program in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, to eventually become an Industrial/workplace Psychologist! While i’m here at Ramapo, I plan to travel through study abroad as much as possible!

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.”

Advice for First-Year Students: My piece of advice for first-year students would be just to enjoy every moment and live your life to the fullest while you are here!
